After completing her doctorate, she continued as a researcher at the University of Oslo on projects related to intracellular protein transport. She has extensive experience in cell biology and biochemical methods, as well as teaching at bachelor's and master's level in biochemistry, cell biology, and molecular biology. She has also served as a university lecturer at the University of Oslo. In her current role at Møreforsking, she is responsible for the strategic development of the research portfolio, coordination of proposal development, and quality assurance of research projects across the organization.
